The Art Collection at Levi’s® Stadium is a collection that enhances the building by creating a fully integrated visual experience. The museum-quality artwork embraces mixed mediums such as acrylic, charcoal, enamel, oil, pastel, pen and ink, stencil, metals and sculptures. Guests will encounter larger than life portraits of 49ers greats, alongside charcoal sketches that celebrate notable regional figures such as Steinbeck and Keourac. Visitors may marvel over pieces from the Ranchos of the Santa Clara Valley and the timeless psychedelics of the storied Fillmore Music Hall. The collection has been crafted to engage and provoke everyone from the casual fan to the art aficionado.
“A majority of the collection features artists that are local and this unique opportunity allows them to embrace what California means to them, which makes the collection even more eclectic and versatile from their point of view” said Tracie Speca-Ventura, founder of SATA and Curator for this collection. “While celebrating football past and present, the walls also share the stage for series of art celebrating the Bay Area surf scene, agriculture, wineries, poets and writers and the psychedelic music of the 60’s and 70’s.”
“We wanted to enhance the gameday experience for our fans on every level while also celebrating the Bay Area, and thought art was an interesting and unique way to achieve that goal,” said Ali Towle, 49ers Vice President of Marketing. “Levi’s Stadium will serve as an icon for the Silicon Valley and what better way to honor the area’s rich history and unique landscapes than to incorporate artwork from local artists."
